FLOYD LIVESTOCK
& COUNTY FAIR ​

Floyd Future has played an integral role in the further development of the annual Floyd Livestock & County Fair held the second weekend in September. Since Floyd Future has taken over as the lead hosting organization for the event (in partnership with Floyd County Farm Bureau Women's Committee) the fair has grown significantly. In 2015 and 2016 the fair won numerous awards at the Virginia Association of Fair's annual convention.
MISS FLOYD COUNTY
FAIR PAGEANT

​Floyd Future acts as the host organization for the annual Miss Floyd County Fair Pageant held each August at The Barn at Chantilly Farm in Floyd. Each year a scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior for continuing education based on merit and positive representation within the community. In addition, the pageant's contestants build self-esteem, public speaking skills, personal development skills and more. Contact us to learn more about becoming a part of this great event.
COMMUNITY LIFESTYLE WORKSHOPS

Floyd Future joins forces with Festival Farm Productions to host lifestyle related workshops. Currently workshops include yoga paired with hooping, make and take crafts, culinary events and homeopathic prevention/remedy workshops. If you're interested in sharing your talents in a workshop setting, let us know. The 4,000 square foot indoor facility at Chantilly Farm is perfect for these types of events!

Each August, Floyd Future partners with Festival Farm Productions to host an eclectic outdoor event that features aerial acrobatics, circus arts workshops, busking performance artists and more! We support and manage several aspects of the event and make donations to other local non-profits who assist in these efforts.

Floyd Future makes financial contributions to local charitable causes that have included the annual Chance Harman Classic Fundraiser, Plenty Food Bank and Farm, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Springhouse Community School and more.
