Floyd Future is a nonprofit organization based in Floyd, Virginia dedicated to growing and advancing the area by supporting the community, preserving our rich culture, and by developing new areas and technologies. Floyd Future works to create and sponsor more engaging events and developments throughout the county.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, Floyd County is a truly spectacular place to live, work, play or visit. Not only has the County grown in population in recent years, the tourism industry continues to thrive and has become a profoundly important element of our local economy. While Floyd is truly amazing, we have our share of challenging issues like any other community and it is our hope that Floyd Future can do its part in addressing some of these challenges.

HOW WE CAME TO BE...

Floyd Future was developed as a way to enrich the community with more engaging activities and events for people of all ages. We have partnered with Floyd County's largest events venue (Chantilly Farm) in an effort to make a maximum impact on where we live, work and play.
Floyd Future has been a major sponsor in the revitalization of the Floyd Livestock & County Fair for the past three years while also hosting events in the same time frame to further engage community members in the event. Floyd Future also provided sponsorship for the Miss Floyd County Fair Pageant, an event promoting and rewarding intelligent young women in Floyd with scholarships and grants.

Above all else, we love where live and love having the opportunity to give back to the Floyd community.
